Guest guest
MahaLakshmi is the Goddess who embodies the aspect of progress in the laws of nature, and of prosperity, growth, affluence, and fortune, the wife of Vishnu. She is the embodiment of loveliness, grace, beauty, and charm, and is depicted either seated or standing on a lotus flower with palms dropping gold coins. The Vedic literature says she has a "face like the full moon, eyes blessing humanity with grace." The day of Maha Lakshmi is a good day for yagyas for wealth, prosperity and fulfillment, growth, affluence, good fortune, and bliss.
