In Kaula path one takes enjoyment as means of release, mukti. As it is said in Agamas, bhogo yogAyate sAxAt. This is the point of danger - if enjoyment is not consecrated and devoted to Devi, and is devoid of love, then it is a path to hell only. Then it is mere indulgance in service to one's own ego. For this reason Agamas say that through enjoyment Liberation is achieved, but ONLY when Love is there. A.

Guest guest
93 Of course i was speaking ONLY abt qualified people - Kula path is not for any other kind . Who said? Seemingly, Siva . All prescriptions come after the heading of "Siva Uvacha" )... vinA makAra yogena naiva tuShyati kAlikA © Finally, why to use a word "indulgence" - it's quiet normal to have sex and eat food LOL. Moreover, celibacy is in fact unnatural and in general case is contra-dharma. Even according to Vedas . The only thing is not to mix path to God and body functioning. Excersises of any kind have nothing to do with spirituality - be them fitness-yoga, "tantric sex", a kind of diet etc. But all these are not a disturbance for upasana either - if one knows a proper place for them.
