Guest guest
rahoyAgakramArAdhyA : To be worshipped in the secret by sacrificial rites. The AcArya [sau. La., v. 9] says, "In the SahasrAra lotus, in the secret place, you sport with your husband" Raho, in the secret [ in the SahasrAra], yagA, the sacrifice of the eight oblations of good actions, etc, in the fire of cit supported by the golden Kundalini; or rahoyAga means the meeting [of Siva and Sakti] in a lonely place [ in the SahasrAra]; krama, stepping into [that place]; ArAdhyA is to be attained. Apastamba says, "Salvation is not for him who confines himself to scriptural words alone, nor for him who delights in fine houses, or in rich fodd and clothes or in worldly ideas; but the man of firm vow, who leads a lonely life and has ceased from [worldly], pursuits, attains salvation, and he who constantly rejoices in meditation on the Self and who never injuries anything, attains salvation." Guest guest
"RahoyAgakramArAdhyA [means] 'worshiped with the ritual of the secret sacrifice.' "There is an allusion to this in the ninth sloka of Soundarya Lahari: Saha-Rahasi PatyA-Viharasi, i.e., 'You will enjoy with Your own husband in secret.' This secret sacrifice and its ritual, in essence, is the antaryAga described in BhAvanopanisat, cf. Introduction. The Guru teaches in practice this rahoyAga, which is in essence the realization of the unity between: (1) the SrI Chakra and the three sarIrAs of the devotee, namely sUksma, sthUla, and kArana; (2) chandra-mandala in sahasrAra chakra, and SarvAnandamaya-Bindu in SrI Chakra; and (3) the Universal and the individual Self. of of prakAsa and vimarsa; that is, of Siva and Sakti. "After this, the entire Universe is experienced as an unbroken ocean of consciousness (akhanda-chinmaya)." - Dr. C.
