Guest guest
Dear all Jai mata ki. Once I herad the devi mantra in a temple which contains devi sthuthi of all three forms i.e. Mahakali, Mahalaxmi and Mahasarswati. This devi sthuthi is four lines only. It's really short and sweet way to praise all three forms of shakti. If any of member know such kind of devi sthuthi in sanskrith. Kindly send me sanskrith version of that sthuthi. regards Ganesh

Guest guest
93 The one i remember is this: karAgre vasate lakShmI karamadhye sarasvatI karamUle mahAgaurI prabhAte karadarshanam It is used as a morning prayer with looking at one's own hands. Not sure it is the one U need though. Guest guest
Interesting. I learned this <suprabhatam> (morning prayer) with the slightly different second line of: karamule tu govindah prabhate karadarshanam/ It struck me as odd that Krishna (Govinda) be invoked along with these goddesses -- although they are "consorts" of his, at least as Vishnu. I'll have to try chanting it with MahaGauri as the third deity, and see how the energy changes. (Translation: Lakshmi dwells in my findertips, Saraswati in my mid-palm, Govinda -- or Maha-Gauri -- at my wrists; I greet the day, worshipping my hands.) -- Len --- Arjuna Taranandanatha <bhagatirtha wrote: > 93 > > The one i remember is this: > > karAgre vasate lakShmI karamadhye sarasvatI > karamUle mahAgaurI prabhAte karadarshanam > > It is used as a morning prayer with looking at one's > own hands. > > Not sure it is the one U need though. > > A. > >
