FASTING - VEGETARIAN OR VRITTAM

hi members,

 

i just want to know whether fasting is being vegeterian or vrittam ( do not

eat for a whole day ). When it says we have to fast on particular day for a

particular god, does it mean being vegetarian or vrittam. Kindly explain to

me in detail. Why people fast on poornami?

Good Questions. Does fasting too means having good thoughts, good

behaviour? Why must it food all the time?
