Namaskar,

I was wondering if any of Devi's aspects are associated with helping a devotee

in legal trouble. Recently, I ran into some serious problems and have court in

the near future. I won't make the same mistakes again, but a little divine

intervention could help as well as give me some peace of mind.

Also, if anyone knows about this tell whatever you know even if it includes

lighting lamps, chanting mantras or whatever. I'll do anything.

Yours,

William (swastik)

I am sorry to hear about this; but we have to sufer the consequences of our

actions no?

But maybe imagining ganapati breaking the bonds of Karma and meditating on that

form (ganapati breaking the bonds binding you) may help. MAY.

Hi William:

I am also sorry to hear you're facing difficulties. I hope Kochu's

recommendation helps. I'd say get the Chopra book I've been posting

from, The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire - Harnessing the Infinite

Power of Coincidence (really, I'm not getting paid to advertise

this!). I think it can help one change planes, so to speak, in a

positive, life-affirming way. If not that one, then Creating

Affluence. I think both are available on CD.

Swastik --

Haridra Ganapati (the Ganesha who is yellow like

turmeric powder) is often resorted to by people who

seek legal assistance. He removes your obstacles, and

sets up obstacles for your opponents' lawyers! He

especially likes offerings of yellow foods on

Tuesdsays or Thursdays.

I did not suggest long complicated practices because i do not know whether

swastik has been doing ganapati sadhana. Yes Haridra ganapati can help and so

will mahaaganapati of whose another form is haridra ganapati. There is what is

called chaturavrutti tarpana. But then all those reituals are complicated.

Then I suddenly remembered a simple thing that My Guru said. Take the relevant

nama from LS and repeat that as a meditation. Thats "mahaaganesha nirbhinna

Vighna yantra praharshitaa" thats see Bhandasura throwing a rock inscribed with

a yantra that causes obstacles (vighna yantra = yantra of lethargy) into

Lalita's camp and she gets angry and in her anger the two eye brows meet and

from that arises Vighneshwara and he guarded on all sides by the Trinity (brahma

vishnu and maheswara and Vaaraahi and Maathangi on all sides) digs up the yantra

and smashes the yantra restring the powers. Someone did tell me that this

Vighneswara has two tusks unlike the other ganeshas who have only one.

To get the book as suggested by Mary Ann is to purchase them unless

you can get it from the library. You can get the LS sloka suggested

by kochu in our homepage. Infact he have already given the whole

name for william to practice. I have another, the picture of

Kottimalai Ganapati. I really like this Ganapati. They call him

Ganapati the Lawyer. I called him Ganapati the Lone Ranger. Hehheeee

see link

http://shaktisadhana.50megs.com/images/Ganesha.jpg

This Ganapati started off as a small shrine in a Judge's backyard.

Eventually he grew and becomes popular. In the earlier days,

everymorning before lawyers and judges goes to court, they pay

homage to HIM. This tradition prevails till today.

On top of all that Williams, I believe the power of visualisation.

Perhaps you should try out Kochu suggestion and no harm in buying

Deepak Chopra book too, if you're not broke that is. Why pay when

yuo can have it free. What you got to loose. Give me your address,

I will send you something from Ganapati The Lawyer.

Meantime your woes will be in my thoughts and prayers all the time.

Take care my dear friend.

Hi - I know the Chopra book is available at libraries in my area;

he's a popular author in California. It also comes as audiocassettes

or on a CD. I just bought the audio version from www.audiobooks.com

for $10, which is good if you have a computer set up that can allow

you to burn it to CD. And you can also buy the book used for $6-7,

so with shipping, it will still come to @ $10 USD.

None of this is meant to detract from the free resources available

here at Shakti Sadhana, however.
