If Amma is not your guru, don't worry about what she says. What she advises is meant for people who follow her teachings, and people who are convinced by what she says, not for anybody else. Guest guest
Are you worshipping devine mother? and please note that it was only months ago you were asking how to worship. So in that short span of time you have realised? Any Holy person is far above us struggling sadhaks, so lets not try to judge their actions OK? How can you deny actions of people whom you cannot even dream of unerstanding???????? Humbleness is a quality of a sadhaka. vikram vanam <vikram_vanam2005 wrote: HI What I meant was Since I am worshipping the divine mother why do I need to worship the planets and I am sorry since I am being rude, if any holy person says this to there follower to worship the planets then I do not consider them to be advanced in spirituality regards vikram Beliefs of hinduism Independence day Traditions Divine Hinduism Visit your group "" on the web. Guest guest
When one enrolls into a gym to get fit, one does not direcly get to the serious training programs like weight training or aerobics. Any person has to get muscle tone and preliminary stamina to sustain longer periods of serious training. That might take anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months depending on the initial condition of fitness of a person. Same way, before getting into any serious sadhakam, one has to spiritually and mentally condition themselves. Please remember the often said belief that a sadhaka worships HER only in his/her last birth for once the sadhaka achieves HER, there are no more births for that soul. Probably the people who are receiving the advise to worship planets are being conditioned for serious sadhakam down their life or lifetimes (in plural). To quote my own experiences, as a kid I started of with slokams of Guru Brhma, Gurur Vishnuhu....., Ganapathy, Saraswathy as any kid with a pious upbringing will do. Then Gayathri mantra...followed by Gayathri mantras of planets. Graduated to Aadhithya Hrudhayam. Then to LSN and now at a stage of somewhat serious sadhakam. Fortunately, I needed only very less prodding and more of turn of events which guided me through different stages of "spiritual graduation." But, some need a word from a holy person they respect a lot to do the same thing. In essence, whatever is being said by anyone always have an inner meaning. For some it is just utterings of someone. For some, it may be a life saving (as in salvation) mantra upadhesham. Some get the meanings of the "utterings" immediately (again depending on their spiritual conditioning) and some realize it further down the line. Just remember this, while looking at people, think of children leaving a big school. There will be kids from elementary grade through high school. Each kids understanding of subjects will be at a different stage. So when a teacher is at a class, they have to modify their explanations based on the knowledge (or lack there of) of the students. > vikram vanam <vikram_vanam2005> wrote: > HI > > What I meant was > > Since I am worshipping the divine mother why do I need to worship the planets and I am sorry since I am being rude, if any holy person says this to there follower to worship the planets then I do not consider them to be advanced in spirituality > > regards > vikram
Guest guest
Namaskaar Vikram Bhai, I would like to offer you some guidance on this topic, first of all the ONLY Divine mother is the Parashakti Chandi all else ( names and forms) are but manifestations of her limitless energy. If you are worshipping her then you can do as you say and not worship the planets ( as she is the Supreme energy which is the source, controller and maintainer of the planets). However there are very few persons on earth that can actually accomplish this. Many think that they do, but do they really ? To worship the planets has a special significance in Hinduism (Jyotish.) At the time of your birth these planets are in a unique configuration relative to your birth time . The energy emitted from the planets at that time is what conditions events your life may take. When there is a negative influence from one or more planets affecting you, by worshipping the spirit guardians (Devatas) who are the rulers of these planets , you can propitiate them and remove the influence thus enabling you to go forward more efficiently. To not do this may result in undue stress, worries, frustrations and troubling events in your life. While I urge you to always be studious, methodical and careful in research and in asking appropriate questions to try to find out why something should be done, its purpose and so forth. I also exhort you to have a humble, questioning attitude. Arrogance and pride are the first things to be conquered in any spiritual quest as these are the first things to bring you down. Also if you have barely began to worship a few months ago, on what basis can you judge whether a person is a spiritual person or not ? So in the final analysis, if you think that you would like to not worship the planets then don't do so. Please record your daily progress. If and when things get really out of control, I am sure that you may wish to change your mind ( to do the required worship) as I have seen may people that have had a similar experience. Understand this however whatever you do or not do is in your hands ! Dhanyavaada Pandit Devindra Maharaj
Guest guest
Dear Dev I entered into spirituality path since I had lot of problems.... I pray and still do so today to the divine mother, its her will and wish to see how I go thru the entire expereince I was interested in spirituality from my child hood days, I cant give any valid answer for why i was interested, it appealed to my heart reading from lofty words of holy men If and when things go out of control the only people I would rush to is my teachers and to the divine mother I am trying to surrender fully to the divine mother so that she would relieve of sufferings now and later Its because of my health problems I came into touch with great holy teachers, so I should be more grateful to the divine mother Thanks for your kind information and your thoughts, I really need to work on my qualities regards vikram Dev Maharaj <dev_maharaj wrote: Namaskaar Vikram Bhai, I would like to offer you some guidance on this topic, first of all the ONLY Divine mother is the Parashakti Chandi all else ( names and forms) are but manifestations of her limitless energy. Guest guest
Ohhhhhhhhhh its so confusing Vikram says.......... I entered into spirituality path since I had lot of problems....==> Natural and common. I was interested in spirituality from my child hood days, I cant give any valid answer for why i was interested, ==========> so you were natural from childhood. Are these statements reconcilable? Maybe they are. But what i see is confusion most confounding. Can you enlighten Vikram? Guest guest
Namaskaar Sankara Bhai, Well it might appear confusing but I want to share with you that I too had a similar experience in childhood. I was attracted to all sorts of spiritual things yet I did not know why. In my teenage years due to frustration I gave it up altogether only to be forcefully drawn back by Ma. ( This is a whole epic by itself and extremely personal, so I don't wish to dwell on it) What I have learnt is that in the process of our evolution from life to life we have Samskaras (impressions) that are locked in our subconcious minds. When we encounter a similar situation it triggers memory recall to our conscious. Hence when we are placed in a family/social/religious situation that feels right to us we are affected at a level that we cannot readily/easily appreciate. We know we are attracted yet we don't know why ! Vikram's confession "I entered into spirituality path since I had lot of > problems." as you say is natural and common for the reason that Ma wills it to be so. You see, when we are having fun and things are going well, most people barely remember MA let alone worship her. So this is her mechanism to draw you back to her while at the same time expiating some of your negative Karma. This is also a time for her to test her child to see how well he/she will handle themselves and if they are ready to move forward. Ma does not waste energy, everything has a purpose and an objective behind it, even though it may not be readily apparent to you. The business of enlightenment though is a tough one as I am still trying to get enlightened myself ! I would be willing to offer whatever in the way of advice, suggestions and knowledge that I have toward that end though.
