It is in my opinion that the body is capable of healing itself if only we allow it to do so. Healing is an inherent capacity of life and the DNA has within it all the information needed to manufacture the healing properties needed for the body to repair itself. Body must work in parallel with the mind. Often our body wants to heal but our mind being distracted. I dont know, maybe im talking nonsense. So I better stop here. Guest guest
Try chanting "om sarva vyadhiprashamanyai namah" - 551st name from LSN - meaning one who cures all diseases. Will include you in the sankalpam during the morning sadhana. , Len Rosenberg <kalipadma108> wrote: > > I talk to my body all the time! The curer and the cured becomes one, yes! You automatically have the capacity to cure others and yourself yes!
Guest guest
>I talk to my body all the time! Does it listen? >hardly ever! (Then maybe listen to it?) Actually, I have found the advice of Amma, Sri Ramakrishna, and many other sages, "to cry to Kali with a real cry" to be an amazing fount of healing. So many of our diseases are about trapped energy (or if you prefer, samskaras, kleshas) and when it comes to Shani (Kali anyway from what I hear of Mahavidya astrology), directly engaging with the core of suffering is where we have to go. Descend to the origin and call. If Shani wants tears, and sometimes that's what these illnesses and other difficulties say, then learn to shed them in a way that is devotional and also cathartically healing. It is an offering like no other, of soul essence from the depths. This crying can bring insight as well as healing, and come while chanting the Divine Names, especially as you come to ones meaningful for your sadhana. Or through other practices too, such as the Taoist Six Healing sounds, which downloads huge amounts of toxic and blocked energy. Movement in prayer is another way to harmonize body and spirit... Guest guest
I like this thread. I talk to my body too. Important also is listening to the body. I guess "conversing" with the body would include talking as well as listening... Very nice thread. Guest guest
Namaskaar I would like to suggest the following to you, when you want to talk to your body effectively try to get down to a theta level - This is done by completely relaxing in a laying position called shavaasana (corpse posture), breathe evenly and deeply and with each breath feel the sound of Aum resonating in and throughout your body. Do this until you feel almost as if you will fall asleep. When you can remain conscious then try to speak to the various organs and cells just as if you are speaking to a person, you may notice certain areas of your body either feel tension or pain. These are the areas to concentrate on. Direct feelings of love and ask the cells to help you to heal them by telling you what is wrong. Be silent and listen for a few minutes, if no reply comes. Then you fall asleep pay attention to your dreams as messages will be directed for your attention. See how this works ! Guest guest
Dear Len There is a practice I know of that works for most things I call it amoroli though it it is better known in the west as auto urine therapy here is a translation from the damar tantra http://www.auto-urinetherapy.com/Damar_tantra.htm It is is at times known as soma a discription of soma can be found here. http://www.agniyoga.org/ay_frame.html?app_id=GLOSS : Soma - Not that soma is not the ethereal body. Soma is a subtle secretion of the glands which can create a sort of protective net for the centers. Therefore, with such protection the transmutation of the centers may be continued, as the insulation of the centers makes this transmutation less dangerous. Even under the snow some plants live and grow. Sometimes the most wonderful plants develop under the pure snow. Thus, soma offers protection against fire.
