Guest guest
I am considering ordering a crystal Rama Padukam, which I saw adverized in an Indian website. This is a carved image of God's footprints, on a lotus, suggested for worship purposes. Although the Padukam is attributed to Lord Rama, comments in the article state that one can also use it to worship Ayyappa, a South Indian god who is considered the son of Vishnu and Shiva. (It's a long story...) I'm curious if anyone knows whether such a Padukam can be used to worship the Goddess? I know Ramprasad wrote frequently about meditating on Mother Kali's black lotus feet. And the Sri Vidya tradition talks about the other gods entering samadhi by gazing lovingly at Lalitaa's dazzling toenails. Is there a particular practice associated with worship of a Padukam? And can someone suggest a mantra or shloka invoking the blessings of the touch of the Goddess's lotus feet? -- Len/ Kalipadma (yes, I am a Pisces!) __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
Guest guest
Namaskaar Leonard First of all you didn't tell me anything regards these last email !! However I will simply suggest to you to use the mantra Aum Kring Kalikayai Namah. A simple thing that you can do however is with your out breathe recite the mantra and with the in breathe imagine ( visualize ) that Ma's energy is emanating from her toes and connecting you to her as well as radiating in your third eye Please let me know how you fare with this Dhanyavaada Pandit Devindra Maharaj --- Len Rosenberg <kalipadma108 wrote: > > I am considering ordering a crystal Rama Padukam, > which I saw adverized in an Indian website.
