To help you learn how it's chanted, there are many CD's of various

vocalists chanting Gayathri which are quite readily available in any

shop stocking a decent selection of Indian music. I know you happen

to like some of the more Westernized treatments of Indian music, a

la Susheela Raman, so you might enjoy Deva Premal's CD "The

Essence," which is easily available in the U.S., including

Amazon.com, which includes two Gayathri tracks:
