kulakundAlayA : Abiding in the Kulakunda

 

Kulakunda is the bindu, which is in the centre of the pericarp of the

MUlAdhAra. It is like the small cavity in the centre of the pericarp

of the lotus.

 

Or, Alaya, the place of rest [in the sleep], that is the place of rest

of Kundalini. AcArya [sau. La., V. 10], "After reaching your own place

assuming the form of a coiled serpent you sleep in the cavity of the

Kulakunda.
