Guest guest
~~ ~~~ aho again, Gentle All, this picture is from a local Temple, of which my family is a part. I discovered this 25-foot tall Kuan Yin marble statue in front of a stone shop last year. she was carved in China, and sold to the Temple here in Japan. was amazed to find that she was bound for our family temple! she was erected only 5 months ago; so Megumi and I got to see her for the first time at her Temple yesterday -- out under the Sun and rain and stars. in her hands she holds a lotus flower, and in the crook of her arm behind it the Sutras of Siddhartha Gautama. may her (our) blessings grow unbounded, Millennium Twain (and Megumi Tatsuzawa) Horigane, Azumino, Nagano, Japan
