Guest guest
Thanks for the warm welcome, Nora. I was just hiding behind the curtain (or HER sari) ;-) Not to answer your question about marriage and if it is sex all the time....but to share my thoughts about it. In the World, love is not just running around the trees, breaking into songs as popularly proscribed in b(k)ollywood movies and living happily ever after. Or to quote old tamil movies, while being together before marriage, when the man touches the woman, "this is all after the marriage!!" ROFL. Well the latter statement alludes that it is generally sex (and only sex?) after marriage. The fights, long silence (due to bliss of just being there with him/her), of course days long of talking sweet nothings, serious planning for the future, how to raise kids, buying a new home. How to put food on the table and of course the ubiquitous in-laws (shudder!!!). Listening to songs and reliving the past, of course, cuddling in the bed and going to sleep with the feeling that one is safe and loved. Then, kids......first 5 years of sleepless nights, crying in the middle of the night......running to the clinic when the tylenol/cough medicine does not work. Watching them grow too fast....worrying about schools, the friends of kids....good or bad influence. Them cuddling with dad/mom just for the sake of cuddling. Tantrums.......then......"KiLikku rekkai molaichuduthu, aathai vittu paranthu poiduthu" (to the uninitiated in Tamil, it is a quote from an old Tamil movie, where the main character tells his wife when their adopted son leaves home, the pet parrot has grown feathers - moulted into an adult - and left home) etc etc....... In my opinion, love is when one partner thinks (always) in terms of the other. Or in other words, there is no "I" but "WE" - which means there will be some instances of "I" coming into play as well. This WE applies to everything connected to the married life, spouse, kids, relatives.........and even in-laws (ROFL). That is why most of the SVU's have no problems with "married life" - cos they learn unconditional love from the Supreme Teacher HERself. As a parent, child, lover and in times as a teacher, who tests the students in a way that students do not fail miserably, but learn definitely. In the looooong list above, sex exists somewhere. Even there, it is 110% from each partner. Where each is satisfied to the point of breathless ecstasy. It should not be wham, bang, thank you ma'am. Before I start to sound like a 60 cents cyber porn writer, I will end this rambling of mine! ;-) The object of Shiva-Shakthi (bindu) upasana is to transcend Maya and merge with Shiva-Shakthi (giving 110%). I see no reason why such an effort should/must not be made in the Maya itself. After all, SHE (as Shiva-Shakthi) is love and everything (SVU, spouse, kids, crazy neighbour, yea even the in-laws), with a mega stress on the LOVE part. G PS: I must admit that I do not show unconditional love to everybody any more, but only to those who do not hurt other people or take advantage of my good intentions. I simply do not have the mental warewhithal for negative/evil emotions any more. Drains me completely. Can't take on the Whole World. Now I have learnt to work on case by case basis. Get one out of the doledrums, let her/him stand on own feet, move to the next. > Thank you ganpra. Guest guest
have you tried this punditji??? And you are still with us poor travellers on the path?? Dev Maharaj <dev_maharaj wrote: Namaskaar I would like to disagree with the following statement " The mother and child is the simplest and the second best . A lot of people go into that mode because its much easier for them to relate to but you don't merge with you're mother. That is incestous. so the mother and child devotion will remain as it is. You continue to be a separate entity and you can never merge with her." This is according to your understanding. I would like to suggest another way of becoming one with Ma that you may not be aware of. This is for the real Viras only - I'm serious this is really dangerous ! Juniors should pretend they have never even seen this email. Perform Shavasana and focus on the bindu, reciting only Aum, resonate this from all chakras, when you have mentally connected with it ask Ma to absorb you ( if you have the courage !) This does not involve any sex or sexual thoughts but I assure you when you she absorbs you and are one with Ma there is no feeling in the world quite like it. Actually sex and orgasms pale in comparison to this feeling - both are quite short lived ! And its not incestous either. This is quite exhilarating and you still get to be MA's child ( I am quite fond of this lower state you see ) by merging with her you get partially transformed into her for the period of time that she allows you as your reward. One caution here for all that would try this, when her energy begins to descend you will experience a feeling as though you are being split apart atom by atom, if you cannot bear it beg her pardon for disturbing her unnecessarily and continue reciting her mantra as atonement ! When you are done make sure to eat something light and drink lots of water. FINAL WARNING DO NOT TRY THIS if you are not prepared for final rest because if she absorbs you and its your time to go, you will be gone and no one will be able to help you.
