Guest guest
Actually, it is written in some SMRITIS (HARI BHAKTI VILASA) that one should neither divulge one's mantra nor GURU. Thus, it is not really proper to ask nor divulge. But, most people nowadays including myself don't tell their mantra, but will readilly divulge their GURU. I personally readily divulge who my Madhwa Vaishnava Guru is, but don't readily tell many who my SRI VIDYA GURU is unless personally asked.
