Guest guest
Well, I don't really care to know anyone else's bank account details, social security number, etc. but if any group members are so "unattached" that they want to give all their money away, there are plenty of worthy organizations, individuals, or criminals who would like to receive such worldly gifts, so feel free. After all, money is like blood - it must flow. Hoarding it and holding onto it causes sludging, according to Dr. Deepak , "manoj_menon" <ammademon@g...> wrote: > I think I made my point, and your post below is just a way of leg- > pulling as far as I am concerned. > > On the other hand, if you were really serious about it (viz., your > definition of doing what you say and saying what you do), and if we > trace back the conversation to its earlier posts, what you basically > said is that yogaman has baser instincts which you want to protect > by not revealing your bank and cc details! > > /message/18552 > > If so, then you have judged yogaman and I am not sure you know him > enough to judge him so ....... > > Maybe you need to develop viveka. > > God knows I need plenty more of viveka, but not in this case! > > > , "just4amusement" > <just4amusement> wrote: > > "Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age > > eighteen", so said Albert Einstein. > > > > If people say one thing (i.e. nothing is mine) but their actions > speak the opposite (i.e. I do not need to feel obliged to share my > bank and cc details), then they are talking about non-attachment but > practicong attachment. > > > > Such people arguably need to develop vairagya and viveka, plus > shadsampat, and especially mumukshutwa. Guest guest
You mean "Her" amusement. Ha! - just4amusement Tuesday, September 20, 2005 8:43 AM Devi as the Lover [Re: Becoming Ma! ] Non-revelation when speaking or showing or allowing does no good is indeed secrecy, it is ego in action for who is to say what will be good or bad. Or even, what is good or bad. As ego, secrecy is always to be avoided. In its best light, non-revelation is good management, it is responsible behaviour. But it comes with consequences for the non-revealer has assumed responsibility for the situation and the people involved. That involves karmic consequences of perhaps long duration. Leave that to the Guru. Better to let the light of day through and let those involved make their own decisions. In the end, it is all nama rupa, names and forms, the lila of the Lord. It is all just for His amusement. Stay light-hearted. , "childofdevi" <childofdevi> wrote: > Respected Sir, > > Exactly!
