amrtAdimahAsaktisamvrtA : Surrounded by AmrtA and other Saktis.

AmrtA, etc are the sixteen great Saktis from AmrtAkarsani to AksarA,

each seated in each of the sixteen petals. The Svacchanda Tr

says, "one finger above that [AnAhata] is the Visuddhi with sixteen

petals. Dakini, the supreme ruler is in the centre. AmrtA to AksarA

are in the sixteen petals. Above that is Camdrabimba".

AmritAdi-mahA-sakti-samvritA means 'surrounded by great energies such

as Amrita,' who are seated in the 16 petals of the Visuddha-Padma.

They are Amritakarsini to Aksara, who are Her handmaidens.
