Guest guest
Namaste Sri Vikram Vanam: I think the nAma you have in mind is 851: Janma-mrtyu-jarA-tapta-jana-visrAnti-dAyinI "Bringer of peace and solace to devotees who are consumed by the evils of life, death and old age." Dr. C. Suryanarayana Murthy comments that She delivers this peace and solace "by endowing them with true knowledge of their selves." Hope that helps ... Guest guest
Namaste Dear Devi Bhakta Thanks for the kind information... I remember something yesterday about swami sivananda.... Before I entered the path of Sri vidya, I had been initiated into Tara practise by a Tibetan monk who is recognised as the incarnation of lord chenrezig/buddha of compassion by Dalai Lama and I did invite him to my house when he was in bangalore , my mother worships Swami sivananda and there is a photo of him in our puja room, Seeing the photo, my teacher immediately offered a tibetan cloth as a mark of respect to Swami Sivananda It is a custom among the Tibetan monks that a senior or a high ranking monk or enlightened monk never offers respect to another unless he is equal or greater than him.... regards vikram
