Guest guest
Namaste All - This is an odd question but it is a problem so don't laugh too hard. In my yoga practice, there are some positions that don't lend themselves well for people with male anatomy. In other words, the family jewels get in the way, and that can be very uncomfortable. My yoga instructor who is a woman who teaches mainly women. She doesn't seem understand the problem or offer a solution. She told me to adjust my positions to compensate. This works until I forget my maleness and find myself in a posture that causes pinching or compression. There are also positions for balance sake need tightness in and around the body core. I've used spandex bicycle pants but that isn't working as well as hoped. I'm sure that this issue has occured with others and there is a solution to it. How do the men you know handle such a problem? If any of you would be kind enough to share them, it would be appreciated. Please be kind. Sincerely, Eric
Guest guest
Oh, Eric! I know quite a few women and several men who would like to meet you. Do you have photos of yourself in your spandex bicycle pants? ;-) Undoubtedly your Yoga teacher has had an occasional female student who was better "endowed" than average in the chest area. Seems to me to have a similar problem, no? -- Len --- Eric Otto <eottoe2001 wrote: > > Namaste All - > > This is an odd question but it is a problem so don't > laugh too hard. > > In my yoga practice, there are some positions that > don't lend > themselves well for people with male anatomy. "Odd Question" Come on Eric! You've been here long enough. Nothing is Odd for us. I wanted to say: We have seen them all, but nay! we have not. There's still more odd to come our way, and are we prepared? "spandex bicycle pants?" This I MUST see!
Guest guest
Len - No, and definitely no! No bicycle pants pictures. LOL It's more problem of atanomical position rather than an issue of personal grandeur. Though I wish it were personal grandeur. Eric , Len Rosenberg <kalipadma108> wrote: > > > Oh, Eric! Guest guest
Hi Eric: I am wondering if the problem might also have to do with the position or angle of your pelvis. I have had difficulty with my pubic bone jutting into the floor and I know that it has to do with the angle of my pelvis (which angle is changing since I stopped taking yoga "flow" classes and started seriously working with a hathayoga teacher who is well-grounded in body mechanics as well as the relationship of same to the rest of one's being). What about a "sports cup" for yogis, would that be totally uncomfortable? It could be extremely fashionable for men the way thongs under sweatpants are for women in yoga classes...it would be a thong for men. Guest guest
I am trying to understand what's the problem this is all about. Whats the fuss? We have many members : there's men and there are women. So there are male member and there's female members. What's the problem with that? Unless there's also an androgenous type, please do tell us. Well if there are women who uses spandex bicycle pants, do send it to me. I can create a gallery : 108 ways of wearing the spandex bicycle pants. , "ganpra" <ganpra@r...> wrote: > > ROFL - sorry no pun intended - I meant the members of SS who are of male gender!! > > , "Mary Ann" > <buttercookie61> wrote: > > > > Just what exactly do you mean by "male member" ... ?? :-P > > > > , "ganpra" <ganpra@r...> > wrote: > > > > > > If male members choose to post a close up , can they wear the > > pants on > > > their heads?? > > > > > > I guess color of the pants will not matter - at sahasrara SHE is > > Sarva Varnoba Shobitha. >

Guest guest
Okay now I understand. Somebody send me an email to explain what's this whole thing is all about. For the benefit of those who are blur like me, I think this is some American Slang, perhaps : Male member Im told refer to the male organ. "If male members choose to post a close up , can they wear the pants on their heads??" Now this is hilarious. , "NMadasamy" <nmadasamy@s...> wrote: > > > I am trying to understand what's the problem this is all about. > Whats the fuss? Guest guest
Hello Nora, This expression "male member" is not actually American slang, it is an old expression of Latin origin - anglicized form of "membrum virile". The word "member" used to be applicable to parts of the body in general, not only that part. The double meaning of "member" has its funny side, but is based on an ancient, widespread and deep metaphor, identifying a society or group with the human body. Eg the word "organization" is related to "organ". "Corporation" is related to "corpse", for both come from the Latin word "corpus". Similarly, the Sanskrit word "angam" can mean either a part of the body, or a division of an army (not to mention various other meanings). There is a Sukta of the Rig Veda (10:90) that says the four major Hindu castes come from four sections of the body (mouth, arms, thighs and feet) of one primeval person (the Purusha). Om Shantih Colin , "NMadasamy" <nmadasamy@s...> wrote: > Okay now I understand. Somebody send me an email to explain what's > this whole thing is all about.
