mUlAdhArAmbujArUdhA : Asecnding the MUlAdhAra lotus.

 

The Yonini called SAkini resides in the four-petalled MUlAdhAra lotus.

Her meditation is :"We meditate upon SAkini who resides in the four-

petalled MUlAdhAra lotus, five-faced, three-eyed, smoke-coloured,

presiding over the bones, bearing in her hands the elephant-hook,

lotus, book, and JnAnmudrA [ a gesture], attended by gentle VaradA

and other deities, fond of eating mudga-beans, intoxicated with mead"
