AjNAcakrAbjanilayA :Residing over the AjnA centre lotus.

There is a two-petalled lotus in the AjNA between the eyebrows; there

resides the Yogini, called HAkini. The meditation on her is : We

meditate upon HAkini, residing between the eyebrows, in the two-

petalled Bindu lotus, while, holding the JNAnamudrA, drum, lotus,

RudrAksa beads, and skull, residing in the marrow, six-faced, three-

eyed, attended by Hamsavati and other Saktis, fond of saffron-

flavoured food, doing good to all."

She resides in the two-petalled AjNA-chakra, whence She controls

various organs (IndriyAs). Thus is it known as AjNA chakra, situated

between the eyebrows.
