But we made a determination at the outset that we will not place mantras on the shirts and other merchandise. As a timely explanation of why, I offer an offline message I received just this morning in reponse to your post: ****** Namaskaram, on the shloka there was a spelling mistake "bhuthebhya" is the true word. Also let me tell you one thing, that it is not that simple thing to do away with by writing on a t' shirt or so. I fact I suggest you don't do it. It is so sacred and so divine that only through experience that you can know it. But if you just keep chanting it will give you that bliss which will be beyond your imagination. Chandi [or Durga saptashati] is not at all a thing for us to play around with. I am very sorry if I hurt your feelings with my words. But as a practicing shaktha I think it is my responsibility to guide other shakthas.
