As I understands it, he lives on because the guru eventually becomes part of us. When the guru takes u in as his/her Shisya, its like you becoming part of the family. Who is our first guru? our parent. Do we forget our parent, even thou we are now married, have a family of our own and we are not depended anymore with on them. They still remain a very part of our live. Where we come from and how we started. As I personally believe : one never forget where ones comes from even if you have move on, you always look back. Forgetting the base can be dangerous
Guest guest
the very aim of sadhana is the realisation of Unity of the upasaka with mantra, the mantra devata and Guru. I think he is implying that. rajeshwari iyer <rajii31 wrote: i > >today's quote: >u need me till u find urself. >need gone, i am not gone... yet. >because u include me in u. >-\ ------------------------- >Is Guruji implying that he lives in the mantra that he initiates. > > > Devi Traditions Divine Visit your group "" on the web. Guest guest
Thanks, at what stage a mantra becomes a siddhi. For example, Sage Narada initiated Valmiki with rama mantra. It took him 14yrs, to view the devata that mantra represented, and he wrote beautiful Epic Ramayana. your statement emphasis the same. If so, how should one approach his sadhana. At what stage it becomes siddhi - when will he be able to visualise the devate that mantra represents. If he fails, does it mean that mantra is not working for her or him. --\ ------------------------- > >the very aim of sadhana is the realisation of Unity of the upasaka with >mantra, the mantra devata and Guru. Guest guest
It depends on the stage you are in and the grace of Guru and Devi. When one has siddhi he/she will KNOW. rajeshwari iyer <rajii31 wrote:Thanks, at what stage a mantra becomes a siddhi. For example, Sage Narada initiated Valmiki with rama mantra.
