Guest guest
I have read that Goddess kali is known as mother time. What is the significance of this statement? Future and past are extreme polarities of time, and that is where one is, most of the time. It is said that by being in present, one can reach new different dimension where it is a spiritual dimension and charka development is facilitated. Is this a beat around the bush way of worshipping kali as time?

She is also the one who removes the effects of evil periods in our lives. In Her presence time is forgotton. Kaalratri : As her name suggest "night of time". All life is unfolded by time. One does not know what time will bring forth. If we look at the whole reality of it, just when we thought that our life is so good. So comfortable and peaceful, suddenly all these are being taken away from us. Death, earthquake, flood etc. SHE really hit us hard. SHE has shown us the reality of life, for nothing is permanent in this world. Permanency is an illusion.

Was playing with this thoughts last night. 1] Lets say : present = today, then past = yesterday and future = tomorrow. Our today will become our past and our tomorrow will eventually becomes our today. Is there a possibility that our yesterday will eventually too becomes our today. I believe yes it is possible. We always refer to our tommorrow in order for us to decide what to do for today. What have I not complete yesterday that I must do it today. So this too means our today is the total of our yesterday and tomorrow? Yesterday=Today=Tomorrow. DEVI is yesterday, SHE is today and also tomorrow. It's a continous event. Same idea when I say, why search for the goal when we are the goal. The beginning of our journey is also our destinations. Why worry about the future or the past when the present = future = yesterday. You look at the present moment because Devi is in the present because You are the Devi. Bala=Sodashi=Me. 2] If present = today = now, it is an experience in which you began to realize that this particular moment in your life is very significant. The consideration of where you are, what you are, on the spot becomes an important realization. More of a state of awareness. You began to be aware of your self , your environment and your family. This is the reality of it all and not just mere illusion. These people are real. My family is real. I am real and I am here, this is what I am, what can I do about it. Accepting this current situation and find ways of bringing joy and delights into it, will eventually open yourself further, rather than narrowing your existence. Many a times we feel that in order to overcome our problems we must try to conquer it, instead of trying to find the root cause of it , "touching the base", as they say. Hmmmmm hhhha I better stop here. Im having a headache now.
