at thiruvAlavAy of milky feathered swan wandering

gardens

in the nAn mADak kUDal on the walls of which the moon

wanders.

 

It is to the attention of the chEran, who rides the

combative

elephant under the brilliant beautiful full moon like

canopy,

supporting the poets peerlessly and with ownership

like the clouds of monsoon.

 

pANar (by name) badhdhiran, who by nature plays yAz,
