Guest guest
She is the Mother of Guha; i.e. Subrahmanya. Compare to name 442, where She is called KumAra-gana-nAthAmbA, the Mother of KumAra and GananAtha. Subrahmanya or KumAra is the Commander-in-Chief of the Divine Forces, and hence the foremost of the divinising forces of Consciousness. Ganesa is another aspect of the above whose manifestation is to destroy all obstructions to the divinising force of Consciousness. These two deities have thousands of devotees all over the Hindu world, worshiped for Moksa or God-Realisation. - Dr. C.
