Guest guest
Pranam,. A poem I wrote.. Pls give me ur comments. Thank you With Love Shankaree Let my every word be a prayer to Thee, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Thee, Every step I take a circumambulation of Thy image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Thee, Every time I lay down a prostration at Thy feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Thee." >From Verse 27 of Shri Aadi Shankara's Saundaryalahari Play Santa's Celebrity Xmas Party, an exclusive game from
Guest guest
Pranam. Here is the poem. My Dreams I dreamt…. I dreamt that I was a bird Flying high in the blue sky A predator sometimes A prey other times I flew high and dove Down to the depths Governed by my instincts I flew and flew and flew In freedom, as I pleased Until I saw Man And his splendid cage. I dreamt that I was a lion Roaring in the twilight The king of the jungle Having domain of all I saw Until I saw Man I dreamt that I was a man Born amidst joy And lived amidst despair While my homeland was ravaged by strangers I dreamt all this And enjoyed and suffered accordingly I dreamt all this and then I woke... Upon waking, I laughed And wondered in astonishment About my dreams. Guest guest
Thank you, Shankaree ... A lot of wisdom here in a few deceptively simple words. I am glad that you decided to share it with us.
