Meaning:

He got up cured from the foaming poison;

With the band of holy servants around uproaring,

the lady who fell in the feet of the gracious holy son

from cIrkAzi with the palms folded on the head,

to the beloved (man) who sought her, the king

of pukali, rich of gardens where clouds crawl,

to live on the earth happily initiated into the

great life of getting married.

 

Notes:

1. This song describes the grace of cambandhar,

for the sake of the lover who was pleading to God,

giving life to the man and gettinjg them married to

each other as they wished. This incident happened at

thirumarugal. The padhikam cambandhar sang,

"caDaiyAy enumAl" is sung for getting rid of hurdles

in

getting married even today. The padhikam is available
