tridasesvari : ruler of the thrice-ten

Tridasas are the devas; tri, three, dasa, states, or ten, ie thirteen.

or Tridasas Visvedevas, or triple ten, ie she is the ruler of the

thirty-three ganas of gods [of course three is understood. ]

Tri-dasa refers to the DevAs. TridasesvarI, then, is She who rules the

Devas. SrI-KalyAnAnanda-BhArati divides this name into its two

component words, Tri-dasa (and) IsvarI.

Tri-dasa also refers to the three states experienced by the JIva, such

as JAgrat, etc., and IsvarI means that She is their Ruler too.

Sahasranama, 1962
