Guest guest
Spiritual guru to rewrite Kama Sutra by Vijay Dutt December 16th, 2005 Source: HindustanTimes.com Spiritual guru to stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and many royals, Deepak Chopra has been reportedly commissioned to rewrite Vatsayana's _Kama Sutra_, the world-famous book on sex tantra [sic] and erotic enjoyment. According to a report, Virgin has paid Chopra a six-figure sum to pen his interpretation of the _Kama Sutra_. The deal has been described as bringing together two of India's well-known and established brands. The book might be called Deepak Chopra's _Kama Sutra: Timeless Erotica for the Virgin Mind_. Telegraph's Celia Walden said Chopra was keen to put the spirituality into sex. Originally the text served purely as erotic literature for kings and queens, said Chopra. But he believes that there is a great connection between sexuality and spirituality. He wants to explore that and take the carnal experience to new heights of spiritual ecstasy. Whatever it be, Chopra, whose books include _Seduction of Spirit_ and the _Book of Secrets_ which was in the LA list of best booksellers for five weeks in a row, could in present times out-sell Vatsayana.
