Thank God for that!

Not trying to sound sanctimonious but i think many with that inclination

towards Wicca should branch off into another group. Many times the true group

content (what the group was formed for) is compromised by extraneous subject

matter from individuals inclining towards that path. more power to you Devi.

Ten points for Gryffindor! *lol*

Nice one, Asha ;-)

Seriously, Shakti Sadhana wishes the new group nothing but success.

While the comparative and perspective discussions about these

alternative paths can be interesting and eye-opening, they are

neither -- as Janardana Dasa pointed out -- our raison d'etre nor our

specialty.

And why is it Gryffindor? huh!

hmmmmmmmm I kinda of like the so called 'Evil' house, where the dark

lord [he-who-should-not-be-name] comes from. What is the name of

the "house" again? I forgot.

Arn't Wicca & Tantra the same ? Demonstrative paths ?

But yes, when we use the term Shakti, we mean Vedic/Hindu, and focus is

important. No point bringing in Athena, Hearn, et all, even though they appear

so wonderful. Hey guys, so difficult understanding me myself; and Janardana's

focus is so right, so let us love our sweet Devi here.

asato ma sat gamaya, tamaso ma jyotir gamaya, mrityor ma amritam gamaya

Red,

What do you mean by "demonstrative path"?

They are the same in the way that aged sharp cheddar cheese is like

Velveeta processed cheese product.

Hi Felicia,

I don't know about cheese :-), but from what I figured, both Tantra and Wicca

incorporate physically preformed rituals, at least in the initial stages, before

one can perform them internally. This is what I meant when I used the term

demonstrative, meaning something one does or demonstrates. Sorry if I got it

all wrong.

Much love,

Red
