Guest guest
When one dies, a person is reborn. He suffers the consequence of his past life as karmic retribution and the person is subjected to sufferings when on earth. After death there is also a place called hell where one is subjected to suffering for the wrong doings while one is on earth. Why is there a double punishment for a single crime, both hell and karmic retribution?

Guest guest
There's only one punishment. Negative Karma is the reason you go to Hell, but it has to be paid on Earth; you don't go to Heaven with bad karma and then reborn on Earth to pay your debts from previous incarnations. That's nonsens... You cannot achieve the elevated vibrations of high spiritual Spheres (known as Heaven or Paradise) that are located in the Astral Universe because of impurities brought by negative karma. So, in conclusion, it's not a double retribution it's the conseqvence of someone personal karma that not let him to reach Heaven and goes to Hell and it is just one retribution, the one that is paid back in the physical world if the karmic effect wasn't consumated by penitence and sufference in Hell. > When one dies, a person is reborn. Well, you mean another person or the same one (?) A new life (reborn) on Earth will continue from where it had ended even though sometime takes time and guidance from parents and teachers to regain the unearthly possessions and spiritual powers already achieved in a previous reincarnations. It's a chain of lives in Samsara. Well, tell that to a Buddhist and he will not admit the Doctrine of Reincarnation. Nevertheless it's up to you to believe in Heaven and Hell or to go to the extent of such philosophical concepts like Karma and Reincarnation. Dave. If you say hell is earth, and Devi is the earth itself. Are you implying Devi is hell? Its my believe that it is us/you/we who turn hell into heaven and vice versa. Instead of spending the time lamenting about this karmic retribution, what I think we should be doing is to reflect back at our present moment It is said : live for the present. I am here now. This is what I am. What can I do about it. How can I turn this lifetime into a more productive and meaningful. Dont you agree?

Guest guest
My Friends, As I understand it. There is neither heaven or hell. You may have heard the saying "As Above, so Below", which means a uniformity. We are in pain or joy because of what we have drawn to us. Bliss is when we have neither, meaning we accept/love all. Realise and move towards the truth/yourself now. The night is long, and there is but little oil in the lamp. Make full use of your time here. Meditate and keep encouraging company. Purify the mind. It may not seem easy, and it is possible. With love, Red david keller <davekeller121 wrote: There's only one punishment.
