Guest guest
Hi I saw in a book something called tantric sandhya. How is this different from the vedic sandhya and who can do it ? Regards Sumanta
Guest guest
It is like freeing yourself of all the things that kept you in chains. It is different because it offers a new perspective a different approach that is not traditional. It was always considered wrong by most of the traditional schools because a tantric sandhya is more complex it's 100 % involvement not just being there..... But it's hard to follow a tantric path. it's not easy at all and doesn't mean it's good for all. So, I won't give details about this here. Life is too short to waste it wondering "what if" ............ Dave sumantkb <sumantkb wrote: Hi I saw in a book something called tantric sandhya. Guest guest
Dear Dave You may have misunderstood the question it was not about the Tantric Path but about tantrik sandhya. sandhya is a specific set of rituals, a daily rite to be performend in early morning midday and evening. This include cleaning the body and offering oblation to the sun and to your deity. Dear Sumanta The tantric sandhya Ritual differs because of the use of other mantras,I don´t know who can do it, but since it uses differing Mantras changing with the devata you worship, i think it is easiest to receive the correct set that matches with your devata from your Guru. Guest guest
Hallo friends, Sandhya is a set of mantras. The mantras are of two types, vedic and prakrut (tantric) . this differs from each other in the fact that in vedic sandhya mantras with their proper and absolute pronouncation is atmost needed alongwith the rituals, on the other hand in tantric sandhya the tantra i.e., only rituals are done. These are the shortcuts to the lengthy procedurers of vedic sandhya, and they definately differ from those which are understood in magics that is tantras. Tantra = the way of doing the things, and the one who does it is tantric. , david keller <davekeller121> wrote: > > It is like freeing yourself of all the things that kept you in chains.
