Yogini : Yoga is the idea of union. As she has this and bestows it on

others she is so called.

In the various Chakras, beginning from the Muladhara, She is all of the

many powers (i.e. Yoginis) who comprise the various aspects of

Parashakti. Alternatively, Yogini can be undertood as meaning the One

who unites with Shiva. This is the reference in the first sloka of

Saundarya Lahari, which begins "Siva-Saktya yuktaH" ("when Shakti is

united with Shiva ...")
