Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Dear Vir, You always write with an exquisite heartbeat i notice. I appreciate you for your absolute honesty, gentleness and sincerity. To me that is most wise. Dear Mahahradanatha, I am impressed with your writing. Just out of curiosity i would like to ask when you write such a text, does it flow from the heart or do you find a book or text on internet to explain such a thing? I somehow sense the first is the case. I would find that highly remarkable and would be urged and attracted to find out more about your sadhana and tradition. I read about the Nath Order on internet and studied several of the scrolls. I have no idea however where this organisation and most pelgrims are established on Pl Earth. Are you mostly in the US? Or in India? I live in the Czech Republic. Is there anyone around who can initiate me into the Naths - should such blessings exist? The tandava of Shiva shows his 5 cosmic activities which are srishti (creation) sthiti Maintenance) and samhara (dissolution) tirodhana (disappeareance or veiling) and anugraha (divine grace or release) The arm carrying the damaru is creation the heartbeat or the twin poles of kula and akula when spread apart, the raised hand with the mudra of protection is maintenance, the hand carrying the fire is dissoulution. The one hand pointing to the the tip of the left leg is anugraha which leg is a symbol of the fourth state beyond dream waking and deep sleep, thus pointing towards it the hand shows the boon of moksha whereas the other foot placed on the body of apasmara purusha represents the action causing veiling or disapperance, the dwarf is representing ignorance, ego and inertia, bondage, the cause of waking dream and deep sleep. Because all this dance is a whirling Motion his matted hair is flying. After having completed all his five actions the cosmos in the end dissolves in Mahapralaya only devi is witness to this last dance thats why she is called: maheSvara-mahAkalpa-mahA-tandava-sAkshiNi Mahahradanatha
