Guest guest Posted January 28, 2006 Report Share Posted January 28, 2006 Since there appears to be some persistent confusion on this point, please note that the 'Srimad DEVI Bhagavayam' and 'Srimad Bhagavatam' are two completely distinct puranas, with different content, different perspectives, different authors, different histories, and rather markedly different philosophies. As Swami Vijnanananda notes, "What [the] Srimad Bhagavat is to the Vaisnavas, the Devi Bhagavatam is to the Saktas." Hokay?
