Guest guest
She has huge armies, or huge Energies. Compare this to Nama 65, i.e., BhandAsura-vadhodyukta-sakti-senA- samanvitA: "She who is equipped with an army of Shaktis (Energies), ready to kill BhandAsura." The demon Bhanda is the personification of the egocentric nature in men and women, who see no other Reality except for themselves and their bodies, and reject the concept of anything Ultimate beyond them. SrI-LalitA, with Her armies of Shaktis, conquers the AhamkAra (Ego) and bestows the true realization of the Ultimate. - Dr. C. Suryanarayana Murthy, Commentary on Sri Lalita Sahasranama, 1962. , "NMadasamy" <nmadasamy wrote: > > > brhatsenA : With mighty army. > > BrhatsenA, is also the name of a certain king. > > > BhAskararAya's Commentary > Translated into English by R.
