Caturangabala may mean the four vyUhas [aggregates]. They are according to the Vaisnavas, VAsudeva, etc.; to the Saivas and the SAktas these mean their respective four vyUthas. According to the Bahvrca Up. it means the Person in the body, the Person in the metre, the Person in the Veda and the Great Person. BhAskararAya's Commentary Translated into English by R.
