Guest guest
Namaste Varunaji, May Maa bless your pure heart always !!!! Varunajiare looking for daily puja viddhi's (methods) that could be ingrained into your daily life . I want to practice a simple form of puja, do japa/asanas/dhyana and spiritual readings. Firstly allow me to explain the choices Varunajihave . 1) Simplified Kali Puja - codified by Swami Bhajananda of Kali Mandir at USA , Sister Usha work ardously in this task for western devotees at Mandir to follow how Bhagawan used to worship Ma Dakshineswari at Calcutta but it is not clear whether this was also the same way Bhagawan worshipped Her before his realisation.Remember Bhagawan use to do full ritual worship for Ma Kali according to the Bengal shastras when his brother got him to be pujari at the temple . I could share the entire process here on this page and we all could send some donation to Kali Mandir.I could personaly send the procedure to the mail and Varunaji could send the donation to them as well. This booklet has only 5 article worship but does not go further than that. The source scripture could not be ascertain as it is actually extraction from several tantra and agamas shastras. 2) Maa Baatakali Puja - This worship Ruchiranandaji could learn from Chandreji and what we have is amalgamation of both western philosophy with eastern Maa Kali worship.I could share the method in posting here but be aware most practices here has amalgamation of both western philosphy with eastern concepts as well. Chandreji is quite busy with on going schedule but you could log in to the website with the same name and learn this puja as well. But one day if you decide to get into the details , Chandreji might take some time in replying to your good self. However scripture of origin have not be ascertained 3) My brother Colin Robinson at Australia also could share his method of worshipping Kali . He is a Jungian by temperament and runs the Ferment magazine which expound Ma litreature But his worship have intergrated all english word beatifully into his puja . If you want I could get you in touch with him but do check their method of worship as scripture of origin is not clear. 4)I beleive that you inclination is not in yantra anmd mantra worship thus I would omit those methods here as well as well Shaivite(South India methodology of prayers) as well 5) Now the most extensive work on Kali Puja that I have ever encountered is Kali Puja of Swami Satyananda Sarasvathi. The originating scripture and Maa Kali manifestation is from Chandi Path and the puja viddhis(methodology) are from Devi Gita of Devi Bhagavatham(you could obtain Swami Vijanananda copy in bookstore). The Kali Puja book might look thick but actually it has basic puja , intermediate puja and advance Kali Puja as well. Recently I had the privilage of working witht Swami Vitalananda Saraswathi on simplified daily puja and I would have his bleesing to share the procedures with Varunaji and the rest of the group. Swamiji is a shadhu (effecient one) who beleives in giving more than receiving thus I would share the entire structure , the relating scripture and the reasons for the procedures in this group if you wish to learn the simplified worship. Each mantras are given the meaning in devanigri script(sanskrit) and romanized english as well. Thus the essence of each mantras are not lost and pronounciation are maintained. Only love for Ma is neccesary. The simplified has all the things that you have requested - a simple form of puja, do japa/asanas/dhyana and spiritual readings. Any body else who wish to learn them could also share in the discussion in this post . If Varunaji wish please say so. Jai Kali!!! p/s : There is nothing required of other than pure love for Maa but if you wish to share something as a token of appreciation for what you have learnt Varunaji could share the Kali Yoga that Varunaji have learnt from Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavathi with the rest of the group members as they are Ma's children who yearn to go closer to Her as well .Of course obtain permission from your beloved Guru before doing so.This is only optional not a mandatory requirement. >Kali_Ma >Kali_Ma >Subject: Namaste >Wed, 04 Sep 2002 17:35:15 -0000 > >Namaste, > >My name is Varuna and I'm a 20 years old French-Canadian college >student in Special Care Counselling. Guest guest
Well that is a question I have been asking myself since the age of 13. "Who am I?" But, 'practicaly' am Jayanth-23 and work for a BPO. A disciple of Sri Vidya and an astrologer. It is a great feeling to know that here in this forum there are such wonderful people who are the devotees of Ma.
