Guest guest
Hi Mr. R Iyer Today I addressed you as Iyer giving it more importance than your name. Hope, i am heading in right direction. Thanks, for your response. I shall do as per your suggestion. In the meanwhile why not you have a look at LS posted on this site referring to page 26. I prepared my notes accordingly and posted on shivarati night. Hpw important is Beeja mantra while doing meditaion. Amrita ask us to chant beeja mantra 7times and rotate the corresponding chakra. This reminded me of Shirley Mclain (american New age guru) on chakra meditation. She mentions its correspoding colour and gives instruction to rotate that chakra before moving into next chakra..It was in early 90's. She made a big name for nothing. I HAVE A GURU - ie Ammachi. Is it not right to meditate on her(guru's blessing) and start Lalitha Trisati. Before starting I would like to invest in proper book with meaning and corresponding cassette for pronounciation. I want to get them right. I started LS without any understanding -neither meaning nor pronounciation. As usual your feedback is welcome.(your suggestion on book with author's name and cassette.) raji.. > >-\ --------------------- >>. >YOU wrote; > About the order of chakras differing in LS, it is avarohana order -- >starting with vishuddhi, going down to mulaadhaara, ascending to agna and >crown. Followed by Kakini in svadhishthana, lakini in manipura, Ragini in Anahata, Dakini in Vishudha, Hakini in Third eye and finally Yakini in sahasra. I donot have them in my records. But, I took interest and noted its content. raji
Guest guest
Dear sir, >> About the order of chakras differing in LS, it is avarohana order -- >>starting with vishuddhi, going down to mulaadhaara, ascending to agna and >>crown. This are after we attain some progress. My sincere apology - you may be right when comes to order of saktis - but, I formed my own format starting with Muladhara and taking upto sahasra. I followed the LS and its posting for its meaning. Names of sakti's representing respective chakras differs from LS and Amrita's version. This is what I pointed out and wanted to know why? Simple meditation likes the one you suggested makes sense for a beginner. Thanks for your feedback. raji.
