Meaning:

"Oh chandrashEkara! Bless!!", thus when the divines

starting from indra pleaded in the cool horizon,

One Who bent the meru mount as the bow to

fall the swinging three forts as fire balls

with one arrow, His place is thiruvakkarai.

Notes:

1. an^dharam - hanging in the sky (tripura can move anywhere

in the sky); eyil - fort.
