Meaning:

Would be ever happy with the ripped skin of

the charging tiger having shiny strips;

He is the Ruler; Lovely One; Blemishless;

One Who conquered the striking elephant

ripping it apart; Divine having the boon giving

bow on the shoulder; With the short bUtas

putting the rhythm Dances; Glorious with

the settled (ash) powder; (His place is)

the thirukkayilAyam mount where the brilliance

of the rising wealth (snow) rips apart the

darkness created by the dark cloud!

Notes:

1. thiruvirAgam are a very rhyming songs

where the thamiz of cambandhar dances.

2. vara vil - boon giving bow (pinAka)
