Arum vayal vEdhikuDiyE,

thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

He would wear - ash, striped dancing snake, tortoise,

rudrAksha, stack of skeletons; Would mount bull;

Source with the legs worshipped by everybody.

His place is vEdhikuDi having fertile fields where

bunch opening areca-nut, rich plantain fragrance spreads

and in the pond pairs of vALai fishes play without separation.
