Guest guest
Greetings, It is IMO better to listen to Kochu's opinion (and all similar) about "spell-breaking". Please, do not use any specific mantra like Gayatri and those of Mahavidyas. Unless one has either special diksha or kaulabhisheka he cannot do that. Without guru's guidance it is simply useless and often dangerous — and in any case unnecessary. It would be nice if U, dear Dhirendra, do not suggest or advertise this. If one wants mantra without having diksha, why not to use great mantras like Panchakshari? Namah Shivaya everyone can chant. And it is no less powerful than some specific mantras! The main key is one's bhava, intention. Sincere prayer to God can remove any curse and any parakarma or prayoga. Isn't HE more powerful than anything or anybody? That too in a case one is not sure if he is cursed at all (i would rather assume he is NOT), it is much better and safe to pray than to try to use destructive vidyas. BTW, in Navarna traditionally AIM is Mahakali, HRIM - Mahalakshmi, KLIM - Mahasarasvati. Its just if one doesnt have a guru and is in a messed up state then .. well there has to be a way. And as far as meeting your own death, if you are not initiated, is concerned, one of these days I am going to put it to test.. After all death is not that bad.. at least from this side of the world.. I might however not agree with "simpli useless" part. As far as "dangerous", well got it try it once. But somehow it believe it depends on your own bhava too as you have said later as well. "जाकी रही à¤à¤¾à¤µà¤¨à¤¾ जैसी पà¥à¤°à¤à¥ मूरत दैखी तन तैसी". Also you dont take out a Rocket Launcher for a mosquito. But if its a realy tank.. heck lets do it... If one wants mantra without having diksha, why not to use great mantras like > Panchakshari? Namah Shivaya everyone can chant. And it is no less powerful > than some > specific mantras! I know. I didnt mean anything is less or more. Its just in how much time will you see the effect. She is just a bit quicker in response.. Also if you dont have a guru I would "think" (could be wrong) you can take Lord Shiva or Lordess Kali as your guru and keep moving. There are some people who say "Its not you who find a guru. Its a Guru who find you" The main key is one's bhava, intention. Sincere prayer to God can remove any > curse and > any parakarma or prayoga. Agreed. Prayer can work miracles. BTW for me its a SHE. Also yes.. I would agree 100%. If you are not sure, then assuming its not there is the right thing, then using any of the things I have mentioned before. BTW, in Navarna traditionally AIM is Mahakali, HRIM - Mahalakshmi, KLIM - > Mahasarasvati. > See Devi-mahatmya Really ? Thanks for telling me that... but then I havent read Devi Mahatmya. Can I get it.. too ;-) Thanks and Regards Dp
Guest guest
Actually you have that backwards regarding the bijas. I am familiar with the Chandi Path/Devi Mahatyam/Durga Saptashati, and I don't know which rendition/translation you are looking at but I've never seen on that says that Aim is MahaKali's bija and that Klim is MahaSaraswati's, instead of the other way around. - Arjuna Taranandanatha Tuesday, April 04, 2006 1:21 PM Re: spell-breaking [usage of mantras] Greetings, It is IMO better to listen to Kochu's opinion (and all similar) about "spell-breaking". Guest guest
Greetings, Different bijas have different meaning, according to the context. Like that, AIM can stand for Vachchhakti, Kameshvari, Yoni, Mahakali etc etc. It isn't that primitive like each bija is one power/goddess. Regarding this particular case, this positionining of bijas i was told by my guru. In some edition of DM i saw the same, but i don't want to dig my shelves now LOL. It was not in the main body of text but in additions to three sections of DM. A , "Mahamuni" <mahamuni wrote: > > Actually you have that backwards regarding the bijas.
