Guest guest
This whole issue of waiting reminds me of something. Few years ago, we lost a member in our family. A 13 yrs old girl diagnose with Leukaemia. As part of the ritual, on the 30th day [ I think]. I may have my days mixed up, but I was there that night. All of us [ the relatives] came for the prayers. It is said, tonight she will come back for the last time, to say good bye to the family. So what we did is that we cook her favourite food, toys, books, flowers etc... place infront of her picture. The priest placed sands infront of the picture. It is believed that the markings on the sand will tell you her next reincarnation. So we are suppose to stay awake for the whole night. And that is what we all did : wait and wait. I dont even know what are we waiting for. Perhaps for something to happen, I think. Everybody was alert then, chatting, playing cards etc... and im in the room with my laptop doing some work not looking at the time, and then suddenly there were silence. Complete silence. Then 5 mins later, somebody chant " OM Nama Sivaya!" three times, and everybody came running to the main room. Apparently all of those who were suppose to stay awake, have fallen asleep, awaken only when they heard the chant. There were foot prints on the sand..... etc This reminds me of the phrase : SHE will come when SHE wants to, and when you least expect it. , "NMadasamy" <ashwini_puralasamy wrote: > > > This is the longest mestrual cycle ive come across.
