Guest guest
Im being told, the greatest obstacles in Sadhana is Fear. Fearless is not about the removal of fear or the reduction of it but going beyond The Fear. Fearless is not about the ability to stand before your enemy and say : I am not afraid of you. But fearlessness is the ability to stand before the world and say : this is What I am, Who I am. Fearless is having the courage to break free from the Cocoon we built around ourselves. Coccon is our habitual patterns that we embed ourselves choosing not to leap into fresh air or onto fresh ground. Coccon is that darkness that we create within ourselves. Its our personal jungle and caves where we can hide from the world and we feel secure. We have so much fear that we make ourself numb with fear. We surround ourselves with our own familiar thoughts, so that nothing sharp or painful can touch us. We are so afraid of our own fear that we deaden our hearts. Guest guest
Like even the fear of loosing my spiritual comfort zone, sharing, being accepted in Shakti Sadhana for example. What do we do about our spiritual comfort zones. I believe I have the answer - just go with the flow; BUT then, doess anything go, meaning do we take what comes with the flow, surrender/embrace ... hmmm Are there really test ? like temptations that come oour way to evaluate where we stand. I mean if I could pass the exam on my own, then why need God in the first place. Then why the Tests ????? We always want to be a somebody. To remove this needs is death. Death of the self. Everyday of our live, we use these needs to feed our ego. There's the problem to with "just go with the flow". Its like swimming in the river, you just go with the flow. Its okay if you know where the river leads you to, but suddenly you see its heading towards the waterfall, and you need to save yourself, can you do it? Then comes the term "to swim against the flow". You must be strong, be very strong to swim against the flow. Are you strong enough? The test are like to obstacle course. Each time you pass the obstacle course, it makes you a stronger person. Gives you confidence and like a moral booster, to encourage you to go further. If we see these obstacle course not as hinderance but as a method of uplifting our self. Accepting it as it as it should be, that is Total Surrender.
