Guest guest
pratyagrUpA : Interior. Pratyak, tending inwards; the direction of the senses towards objects is called bahirmukhatva and parAnmukhatva [external]; their inward direction towards the Self is called antarmukhatva and pratyanmukhatva. The Sruti [Katha. Up., IV. I] says, "The Self- existent made the sense... Hence one sees externally but not internally" The meaning is that Her nature is to be seen internally.
