III. 9. 28] :"Brahman is eternal, wisdom, bliss" or sati, true wisdom, ajnA, those who are ignorant of that, Ananda, such persons are without bliss; rUpa, gives, ie she causes pain to those ignorant of the true wisdom. The Sruti [isa, 9 and Br. Up. IV. 4. 10] says, "Those who worship ignorance enter into deep darkness." The BrahmA Pr, also says, "The Aranya-sruti condemns those who follow any but true knowledge" Or StayajNAna : sati, Devi, ajNAna, ignorant of-those who are ignorant of Devi, to those she assigns rUpa, worlds called ananda [devoid of bliss]. The Sruti [br. Up., IV 4. II] says, "Those worlds are called ananda, which are covered with deep darkness; the ignorant and unwise men go to those worlds after death" BhAskararAya's Commentary Translated into English by R.
