Guest guest
I have seen the videos were PK Jois teaches 1st,2nd and 3rd series to his best practitioners (Tim and Chuck Miller,Richard Freeman etc.) and they're good. The production values are low, as they usually are in most yoga videos, but it's enlightening to see the seniormost teachers doing their practice. In broad terms these are Mysore style classes with the students being so accomplished that the teacher doesn't have to teach too much.

He also has a Mysore documentary tape that shows how ashtanga is taught by taking a camera
inside the small room at Mysore. That's a pretty good tape as well and it exposes aspects of PK Jois's teaching style that his followers should be aware of.

I have not seen the "...other videos (Tim Miller etc.)" but we already have two very good videos on the Primary Series by Richard Freeman and David Swenson.

A word of caution about the Sewell shipping methods:My package arrived promptly with USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days). The cost was $3.20 as usual and I was charged $10 for shipping.
