Guest guest
I had the same problem that you describe and I was also convinced that my arms were too short. The trick that worked for me was to concentrate on jumping upwards as well as forwards from down dog. The upwards movement allowed me to keep my legs fully extended and then guide them between my arms. Be careful though! as I was learning this I noticed that too much emphasis on the upward movement can place great strain on the wrists. Hope this helps.
