Guest guest
Hello all,
I am a new student looking for serious study in NYC. I have found a few schools, and am wondering if anyone has heard good or bad things about them.
One is Jivamukti Yoga, The others are Patanjali Yoga, and Astanga Yoga Shala. Any info would be appreciated. thank you denise
Guest guest
Patanjali Yoga Shala is far and away the best school for traditional Ashtanga in NYC. Eddie Stern is as close to being in Mysore as you can get over here. If you have a serious practice check it out it's the place.
Guest guest
Try The Prana Studio, at 5 West 19th Street (between 5th & 6th avenue) on the 10th floor.
Danicia is a wonderful teacher. Classes are small with a lot of individual attention, which you wont find at some of the other centers that have much larger classes and only a few assistants. www.thepranastudio.com

michael
